Our U’14’s qualified as Waterford’s representative for the Hurling Feile na nGael national competition which is being hosted this year in Wexford and Kilkenny.
To qualify they overcame Passage in the Feile County Final which was played in Cappaquin on 18 May.
Close on 200 Teams will participate in this year’s Feile which is being run over this weekend 16th-18th June.
Our U’14’s will be in the “A” Division this year and will be up against the strongest clubs in the country.
We are being hosted by the Rapparees/Starlights GAA club in Enniscorthy.
Our first matches are scheduled for 5pm and 6pm respectively in Wexford Park, Wexford on Friday 16 June.
There they will be pitted against Faythe Harriers(Wexford) and in the second game against the Limerick County Champions
The following morning they are due to play their final group game against their host club, the Rapparees in Enniscorthy at 11 am.
Depending on the outcome of the group stages they will then be scheduled to play a further match in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny in the afternoon.
This is a massive achievement by the team and we wish both players and mentors the very best.
