On behalf of all in the club we would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Cliffe family, Abbeyside and the many friends of Laura Cliffe who died suddenly this morning. The Cliffe family has had a long association with our club. Our home prior to our move to our current grounds was Cliffe land. Laura's father Larry wore the club colours with distinction in his youth and has run our weekly bingo sessions with the help of his wife Margaret for many, many years. Her brothers Damien and Raymond also played hurling and football with us, a tradition that is being carried on by the next generation of Cliffe's. Laura's sisters, Sandra and Maria, are great supporters of all club teams. Our condolences to the entire Cliffe family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
