Annual General Meeting

Owing to the U20 Western Hurling Final taking place next Friday evening, the Annual General Meeting of CLG Dún na Mainistreach / Baile na Cúirte is postponed. Confirmation of the new date will be published in these notes next week and on our Social Media.

U20 Hurling

The U20 hurlers got their championship campaign underway against An Gaeltacht at Dungarvan Club Grounds last Sunday morning. A fine crowd saw our lads put up a good display to run out 1-20 to 1-07 winners. We now progress to the Western Final, where St Carthage’s will be our opponents. This game will go ahead at 8.00 pm next Friday in Fraher Field. If you can, please come along and cheer on the team.

Jack The Joker

The ever-popular Jack The Joker draw took place on Monday night last. Caroline Sullivan was drawn and picked number 25. When turned this was not the Joker, but she did win €50. Patrick Hurney and James O Mahony won €25 each. The jackpot next week will be €1,300.

Sunday Night Bingo

Due to the increased prevalence of Covid 19 in the community we have taken the decision to cancel our Sunday Bingo until further notice. We’d like to thank all who supported us on our brief return. Hopefully, we’ll see you all again soon!
